Amazon stopped prepping for sellers in January 2026

Since January 1, 2026, Amazon no longer offers prep and item labeling services for FBA shipments in the US. Inventory that arrives at an Amazon fulfillment center without the right FNSKU label or packaging is refused or set aside, and sellers can no longer pay Amazon to fix it on arrival. That work now has to happen before the shipment leaves for Amazon, either in your own space or at a prep center.

For brands importing through the West Coast, doing it here makes the route short: containers arrive at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, inventory is received and labeled in Oxnard, and the FBA shipment goes out from the same floor. No extra leg across the country, no second warehouse.

What FBA prep means here

Two things, each with its own published price. FNSKU labeling is per unit: the unit comes out of the carton, the Amazon label goes on, the unit goes back. FBA outbound is per master box: your Amazon box labels go on the sealed carton, and the carton is handed to the carrier on your shipment plan. Pallet shipments to Amazon are built, wrapped, and labeled at the pallet prep rate on our price list.

Polybagging, bundling, inserts, and inspection beyond the unit count depend on the product, so they are quoted in advance, before the work starts, never added to the invoice as a surprise.

FBA prep questions

Do I need to send inventory from a US supplier, or can it come straight from overseas?

Either. Containers and air freight arrive from the ports and airports around Los Angeles, and domestic supplier shipments arrive by truck or parcel. Customs clearance happens on your side before the goods reach us.

What is the minimum?

100 labels per labeling job and 5 boxes per FBA shipment. There is no order volume minimum on the account.

Who creates the shipment in Seller Central?

You can, or we can create and manage the FBA shipment on your behalf, billed by work time. Either way the box labels come from your shipment plan.

Can you prep inventory that came back from an Amazon removal order?

Yes. Removal orders are received and sorted at the removal rate, and units that go back to FBA are labeled at the FNSKU rate above. See our Amazon removal orders page.

Can the same inventory also ship to my own customers?

Yes. Inventory stored here can feed FBA shipments and direct orders from Shopify, Walmart, TikTok Shop, or your own store, at the same published rates.

Is there a contract?

No. No contract, no monthly software fee, and you can leave with 30 days notice.
